JAPANESE TOURS

Mt Taranaki Guided Tours have been organising and guiding Japanese Tours to New Zealand since 1990. We guide these tours to Taranaki, including hiking tours to the Egmont National Park and guided tours on Mt Egmont / Mt Taranaki (San).

These tours include:

Trekking in the Egmont National Park:

1. Hiking tours in the Egmont National Park: 1 day hiking.
2. Pouakai Circuit: 2 or 3 day hiking.
3. Around the mountain circuit: 4 or 5 day hiking. (All year round.)

1 day guided tour of Mt Taranaki:

• Guided tours on the local mountain are a 6 hours up and 4 hours down. Similar to Fuji San. (Less height but as I have been told a little harder)
• Due to the weather here on our local mountain here we suggest allowing 2 or 3 days, 1 day climbing, 1 or 2 days hiking, to gain success.
• These tours only in our summer, December to End of April.
• Numbers on request.
